Johnny Pickard

Johnny Pickard drives the #02 Super Mod Class car.  His home track is Colorado National Speedway but he can also be found racing at I-25 Speedway.  He lives in Pueblo, CO.

Team members helping Johnny are:  Jeff Ercul, Carrie Ercul.  Mike Pickard is the car owner.

Johnny started racing in 1978 in the Street Stock Class at Beacon Hill Speedway because he was born into it!  His first win was in that same year.  Career highlights include 1978 Street Stock Track Champion at Beacon Hill Speedway, 2002 ERA Champion, 2005 ERA Champion.

The thrill of racing for Johnny is to run the car as hard as it will go.  His most exciting racing moments are the Main Events.  He's most proud of representing the USA in 2003 in the World Finals at the U.K. Coventry Speedway.

Johnny's racing hero is Ronny McDowell #119.
