Zack Merritt drives the #74 Sprint Class car.  His home track is Colorado National Speedway. He lives in Greeley, CO.

Team members helping Zack are:  Billy Stone, James Martinez, Darwin Merritt, Tim Basham.  Don Merritt is the car owner.

Zack started racing in 1997 in the Go Kart Class at IMF because he liked to go fast.  His first win was in '98 in the IMF Jr1 Alcohol Go Kart at IMF.  Career highlights include '98 IHF Jr 1 Champion at IMF, 2003 Colorad Outlaw Micro Sprint Champion, '05 highest Points average Lincoln County Raceway in Micro Sprint.

The thrill of racing for Zack is the speed, flat out competition, doing whatever he can to be the best.  His most exciting racing moment was going to Lincoln County Raceway the first time and winning.  He's most proud of winning races and Championships on a shoestring budget.

Zack's racing hero is Daris Allison.

Of racing, Zack says, "The biggest thing I would like people to understand there is a lot that goes into turning left, not just turning the wheel!".
