Jason Duncan
#98
Jason Duncan drives the #98 Legends Class
car. His home track is Colorado National Speedway but he can also
be found racing at I-25 Speedway, and BCS. He lives in Aurora, CO.
Team members helping Jason are:
Parents, sister, Scott Duncan, Larry & Louise Lambert, Mike Eggleston,
Rick Rusk, and his wonderful fiance! Alan and Deanna Duncan are
the car owners.
Jason started racing in 1994 in the
Quarter Midget class at Rocky Mountain at Jefferson County Fairgrounds
because his Mom loves racing! His first win was his first race in
1994 in the Jr. Novice Class at Rocky Mountain Quarter Midget track at
Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Career highlights include 2004
winning the Semi Pro State Championship in Legends.
The thrill of racing for Jason is the
speed, the competition and the unpredictability of being on the track.
His most exciting racing moment was winning his very first race and
winning his first Heat Race and Trophy Dash in the Legends. He's
most proud of winning the Semi Pro State Championship in '04, of how
close it brings all of his family together all the time, the fact that
it's a family commitment and effort all week and on race days.
Jason's racing hero is his sister.
She has overcome being a woman in a "man's sport" beating many men and
someday possibly Jason!
Of racing, Jason says, "It is a sport
just like football, etc. It takes a lot more work and ability than
"just driving". It's also a great bonding experience with family
and the friends you make all over the world!
