Nick Haygood

Nick Haygood drives the #1 Sprint Class car.  His home track is Colorado National Speedway, but he can also be found racing at I-76 Speedway and with the ASCS.  He lives in Denver, CO.

Team members helping Nick are:  Cindy Lowery - Mom, John Gerloff.  Rick Lowery is the car owner.

Nick started racing in 1990 in the Quarter Midget class at Jefferson County Fairgrounds because it was a family activity.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 2001 ASCS Rocky Mountain Region Champion, '05 RMMRA Rookie of the Year, '07 all time, all division Track Record 13.248!

The thrill of racing for Nick is the speed and the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was breaking the Track Record at the 360 Nationals in Knoxville, IA.  He's most proud of the success they've had and the friends he's made.

Nick's racing hero is John Gerloff.
