Mike Stadel drives the #7 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Black Hills Speedway but he can also be found racing at Gillette Thunder Speedway and I-76 Speedway.  He lives in Rapid City, SD.

Team members helping Mike are:  Les, Mary, Tommy Stadel, John Howard.  Mike and Les Stadel are the car owners.

Mike started racing in 1998 in the Thunder Truck Class at Black Hills Speedway because his Dad raced and Mike got the bug from him.  His first win was in 2000 in the Super Stock Class at Black Hills Speedway.  Career highlights include 2000 Super Stock Rookie of the Year, 2001 Big Sky Nationals Super Stock, '03 Late Model Rookie of the Year, '05 and '06 Big Sky Nationals Track Champion in Late Models.

The thrill of racing for Mike is the competition and hard, close racing.  His most exciting racing moment was his first Big Sky Nationals win.  He's most proud of his '07 run in Casa Grande AZ.

Mike's racing hero is his Dad, "The Legend".

Of racing, Mike says, "You'll get addicted if you give it a chance...like it or not!".
