Shawn Harper drives the #00 Sportsman Class car.  His home track is Auburndale Speedway.  He lives in Winter Haven, FL.

Shawn started racing in 1997 in the Street Stock Class at Auburndale Speedway because he loves the sport.  His first win was in 1998 in the Street Stock Class at Auburndale Speedway.  Career highlights include several Heat Race wins, 2 Feature wins, several 2nd place finishes.

The thrill of racing for Shawn is going fast and being competitive.  His most exciting racing moment was almost winning 2 weeks ago missing by 5 inches.  He's most proud of just being competitive. 

Shawn's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Of racing, Shawn says, "If it was easy, everyone would do it...just keep trying!".
