Derek Morey drives the #12 Mini Cup Pro Class car.  He races with the Mini Cup Series.  He lives in Inverness, FL.

Team members helping Derek are:  Mike Zicarelli, Jimmy Swartzfager.  Jamie Morey is the car owner.

Derek started racing in 2005 in the Mini Cup Jrs. because he wanted to try it.  Career highlights include finishing 6th in the Points in '05. 

The thrill of racing for Derek is working on the cars.  His most exciting racing moment was flipping his car upside down at Citrus County Speedway.  He's most proud of keeping both cars running and on the track every race.

Derek's racing hero is Carl Edwards.
