Tim Sozio drives the #16 Young Guns Class truck. His home track is Auburndale Speedway, but can also be found racing at Orlando Speedworld. He lives in DeBary, FL.

Team members helping Tim are: Grandpa Phil, Mom, Dad, and brother Trevor. Phil and P. J. Sozio are the car owners.

Tim started racing in 2003 in the Quarter Midget Class at Little New Smyrna Speedway because racing looked like fun, and he had always been a race fan. His first win was that same year in the Jr. Novice Class at Little New Smyrna Speedway. Career highlights include 2003 Tangerine Champion, 2003 1st Annual Little New Smyrna 500 Champion, Grand National Events in Thompson, CT and Cumming, GA,  raced at the Gasoline Alley Nationals at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, 2007 Light 160 Points Championship for Florida Regional Series, and debut of truck in September 2007.

The thrill of racing for Tim is going fast. His most exciting moment was his first truck race. He is most proud of his Florida Quarter Midget Light 160 Championship.

Tim's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
