John Blakley drives the #32B Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Auburndale Speedway.  He lives in Clearwater, FL.

John started racing in 2007 in the Street Stock Class at Auburndale Speedway because he's been around it for many years helping other drivers including his brother.  John had a chance to drive this year and is loving it!  Career highlights include finishing races and learning as much as he can.  His best finish has been 8th place.

The thrill of racing for John is the competition and going as fast as he can.  His most exciting racing moment was his first start as a driver.  He's most proud of helping his brother and watching him win.  Hopefully he'll soon be creating his own pride behind the wheel.

John's racing hero is his brother, Bobby Blakley.

Of racing, John says, "There is more to it than just going in circles.  It is way harder to drive than most people think.  There is so much skill involved and not just anyone can drive and be competitive!".
