Bill VanDevender drives the #84 Fasttruck Class truck.  His home track is Charlotte County Motorsports Park but he can also be found racing at USA Speedway, Desoto Speedway, Ocala Speedway, Citrus Speedway.  He lives in Lehigh Acres, FL.

Bill started racing in 1999 in the Street Stock Class at CCMP because his family has always raced.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Rookie of the Year in '99 at Charlotte County Motorsports Park, winning three in a row in '01 and he's won 17 Feature races.

The thrill of racing for Bill is his love of everything about racing, building the cars, working on them as well as pushing a car to its limit and knowing how hard to push it.  His most exciting racing moments are when he has last lap passes, running door to door and hoping to pull off the win.  He's most proud of being able to include his family into his passion of racing,  Everyone from his wife, mother, father, brothers and his daughter.

Bill's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Bill says, "Race for the love of the sport, not for the glory or the title.  Race Car Driver is one thing, to say I am a race car driver and saying I drive race cars is another!  Drive it like you stole it!".
