Don races mini stocks out of Spring Hill, Fla. Citrus Co speedway is his home track. He also races Bronson, And New Smyrna.  He started racing in 1964 in the Novice class at Hollywood Fla. He was following his father who was also a racer.

He got his first win in 1965 at Hollywood in a Novice car. Don won the track championship in the Novice division in 1966 at Hollywood Speedway.

Jeff Gordon is Dons Racing hero.

When ask what his greatest racing accomplishment was Don said, " Winning rookie of the year in three different classes, 1966, 1971, 1999.

When ask about his greatest racing thrills he said, " Racing Dirt Late Models in South Carolina."

The goal is to win the track championship.
