Stan Butler

Stan Butler drives the #18 TBARA Sprint Class car.  His home track is Citrus County Speedway but he can also be found racing all over Florida.  He lives in Bushnell, FL.

Team members helping Stan are:  Ricky Burnett, Dick Hickernell, Shane Butler, Keith Butler, H.O., Steve "O", Robby Hockedj.  Karen Butler is the car owner.

Stan started racing in the 1972 Sprint Car Class at Golden Gate Speedway because his Grandfather had a car, needed a driver and Stan has been around it all of his life.  His first win was in '73 in the Sprint Car Class at Golden Gate Speedway.  Career highlights include '94 TBARA Pavement Champion, '88 Pole Sitter and Track Record at Little 500 and Ind., '97 Inducted into the Lil 500 Hall of Fame, '88 and '90 Enge 50 Tune Up Race for Lil 500.

The thrill of racing for Stan is winning and being competitive.  His most exciting racing moment was running 2 Lil 500's in '88.  He's most proud of seeing his sons win in Sprint cars.

Stan's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
