Tim George drives the #1 Ltd. Sprint Class car.  His home track is East Bay Raceway Park but he can also be found racing at Charlotte County Speedway.  He lives in Venice, FL.

Tim started racing in 1972 in the 6 Cyl Bomber Class at Charlotte County Speedway because his Father raced and Tim liked it.  His first win was in 1996 in the Southern Mod at East Bay Raceway Park.  Career highlights include 5 Track Championships at East Bay Raceway Park in 2000, '02, '03, '04, & '06, Track Championship in USA Series in '05, 35 wins from 1996-2007.

The thrill of racing for George is going fast and sideways on a dirt track.  Every race can be the most exciting racing moment if you do it for the right reason, "The love of the sport!".  He's most proud of being able to race and watching his daughters race.  His 18 year old in Limited  Sprint and his 10 year old 1 Championship in Go Karts.

Tim's racing hero is his Father.

Of racing, Tim says, "When done right it's a great family sport and keeps you out of trouble.  Most fun if you can keep your kids, girls or boys, involved and out of trouble.
