Steve Black drives the #54 Late Model Class car.  His home track is East Bay Raceway Park.  He lives in Lakeland, FL.

Steve started racing in 1975 in the Late Model Class at Indianapolis Raceway Park because his Dad raced.  His first win was in 1976 in the Late Model Class at Indianapolis Raceway Park.  Career highlights include 1992 17 Feature wins at Auburndale Speedway, Lakeland Speedway and St. Pete Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Steve is the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was 2003 Feature win at East Bay Raceway Park.  He's most proud as a car builder of the precision and appearance of the car.

Steve's racing hero is Richard Petty.

Of racing, Steve says, "It's addictive with no cure!".
