Wes Scrape

Wes Scrape drives the #66 Winged 360 Sprint car. He lives in Maitland, Florida. His home track is Jax Raceways, but he can also be found racing at Putnam County Speedway, Volusia County Speedway and Waycross Motor Speedway.

Crew members and others who have helped include, Meredith Scrape, Logan Scrape and MacKenzie Scrape.

He began racing in 1988 in IMCA Modifieds at Jax Raceways because it is in the blood. His first win was in 1989 in Modified at Jax Raceways. Career highlights include, out running Jimmy Kite in the Fall Brawl at Putnam County Speedway with U.S.C.S.

The thrill of racing for him is being strapped into something that is on the edge of being out of control. His most exciting racing moment was racing with his Father (Otto Scrape) and his brother (Lee Scrape). He is most proud of finishing 6th in Points his first year in Modified Racing.

Wes won the F.S.C.A. points championship for 2005

His racing hero is his Dad, Otto Scrape.
