Cliff Mitchell

Cliff Mitchell drives the #17 Thunderstock Class car.  He lives in St.Petersburg, FL.  He can be found racing at Citrus County Speedway and Sunshine Speedway.

He started racing in 1981 in the Go-Karts Class at Accord Speedway in NY. because he had always worked on race cars and wanted to race them.  His first win was that same year.  Cliff was the 1989 International Karting Federation National Champion, 1984-1990 Point Champion at Accord Speedway and 1996 and 1997 Points Champion at Woodleaf Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Cliff is going fast.  His greatest racing moment was finishing 3rd at a race in  Syracuse NY during Super Dirt Week.  He's most proud of his Points Championships.

Tony Stewart is Cliff's racing hero.

Of racing, Cliff says, "If you can't race it or take it to bed, it ain't worth having!".
