Greg Vandergriff drives the #101 Open Wheel Modified Class car.  His home track is Volusia Speedway Park but he can also be found racing at East Bay Raceway Park, Riverside Speedway, Southern Raceway, Delta Bowl Speedway and North Florida Speedway.  He lives in Deltona, FL.

Team members helping Greg are:  Tommy, Steve, James.  Tommy Vandergriff is the car owner.

Greg started racing in 1995 in the Street Stock Class at Byhalia Speedway because his Dad had raced for many years.  His first win was in 1995 in the Street Stock Class at Dyersburg Speedway.  Career highlights include winning hundreds of races. 

The thrill of racing for Greg is his love of the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win in his first Modified.  He's most proud of the year at Riverside Speedway when he won every Heat Race and every Feature Race with the exception of one.

Greg's racing hero is his Dad.

Of racing, Greg says, "Driving a Modified is my favorite type of car to drive.  I treat people the way I want to be treated!".
