Jim Nichols drives the #23 Mini Stock Class car. He lives in Bunnell, Fl. His home track is Volusia Speedway Park.

He began racing in 1978 in Thunder Car at Volusia because he liked automobiles and it was something to do. He has always ran respectable, always ran in the Top 10.

The thrills of racing for him are going fast and turning the corner. His most exciting racing moment was watching his son roll a car on the track and no  movement for a while. He is most proud that his cars always look good. People always come up to him and  compliment him on it, that makes him feel good.

Jim's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Jim says, "try it, you'll like it".
