He began racing in 1999 in Purple Class at Fruitland Park Speedway because it was something he had to do. His first win was in 200 in Blue Class at Fruitland. Career highlights include, Central  Florida Karting Dirt Series win, 2003 Gold Fruitland Park Speedway. 2003 Gold Fruitland Park.

The thrill of racing for him is the speed. His most exciting racing moment was when he started dead last to first in 2 laps. He is most proud of all of the wins with the bad equipment he had.

Cole's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
