Steve Branton lives in Deland, Fl. His home track is Volusia Speedway Park.

He began racing in 2001 in Stock Light-Go Karts at Volusia Speedway Park, for the thrill of it and it was something he had always wanted to do. his first win was in 2001 at Volusia in Go Karts. Career highlights include, 2001 Track championship Go Karts, 2002-2004 Ran Top 3 in Points Championship. He started racing in Hobby class on the big track in 2004.

The thrills of racing for Steve are the speed and competition. His most exciting racing moments are when he sees  his hard work pay off, whether in Karts or Cars. He is most proud of  being able to run up front in his first season of racing Hobby Stock.

His racing hero is his son, Michael Martin.

Of racing, Steve says, "Don't start no crap, won't be no crap!"
