He began racing in 1988 in World Carting at various tracks in the Southeast for the fun competition and the speed. His first win was in 1988 in Go Karts at Saltilo Miss. Career highlights include numerous Carting wins.

The thrill of racing for him is the speed. His most exciting racing moment was in 1994 Alabama Carting Champion. He is most proud of being a decent race car driver, can race anywhere with anybody.

His racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
