Chris Heaney lives in Deleon Springs, Fl. His home track is Volusia Speedway Park, but he can also be found racing at Oglethorpe Speedway, Putnam Speedway and  Bithlo Speedway.

He began racing in 2001 in Pure Stock at Volusia Speedway Park because it was in his blood.  He has been going to the races since the age 3. His first win was in  2002 at Volusia in Pure Stock. Career highlights include finishing 11th in Points in Pure Stock, missing a few races with a few podiums, in his first year. In 2003 finished 4th in Points with a few wins and a lot of Podiums. In 2004 he built a mini Stock and plans o run for the rest of the Season and run for Mini Stock Points Championship next year in 2005.

The thrills of racing for him are that you are always on the edge of your seat and there is always new stuff to learn. His most exciting racing moment was a win in Orlando when he lapped the whole field. He is most proud of his 4th in Pure Stock Points.

His racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Jr.
