Robert Henderson

Robert Henderson drives the #72 Sprint car. He lives in Jacksonville, Fl. His home track is Jax Speedway, but he can also be found racing at Putnam, Volusia and Waycross Speedways.

He began racing in 1960 in Texas in Go Karts because it was a rush for him and he loved it.  First year in Sprints-3rd Place last week (Aug. 2004) at Jax.

The thrill of racing for him is going wide open into turn 1. His most exciting racing moment was his 3rd Place. He is most proud of being State Champ in Go Karts in 1962.

Robert's racing hero is Steve Kinsen.

Of racing, Robert says, "Come on out to the races, meet the drivers, we're just like you and we love to race".
