Robert Hicks drives the #30 Hobby Stock Class car at his home track Volusia Speedway Park.  He lives in Palm Coast, FL.  People who help Robert are:  Harry Jones, Gary Northrip, Dusty Sanders, David Harper and Teresa Wooten.  Robert Hicks and Gary Northrip are car owners.

Robert started racing in 1994 in the Hobby Stock Class at Volusia Speedway Park as he was born into a racing family.  His first win was in 1995 in the Hobby Stock Class at Volusia Speedway Park.  Career highlights include his first win with a Hobby car his Dad and he built in their driveway in 1994. 

The thrill of racing for Robert is the adrenaline rush of side by side racing.  His most exciting racing moment was the first lap he ever took in a race car...that was when the racer was born.  He's most proud of helping other people, especially young people feel the thrill of racing. 

Robert's racing hero is Scott Bloomquist.

Of racing, Robert says, "No matter what your budget, always remember there's always somebody in the stands who would love to be on the track, turn left and enjoy the ride!".
