Chris McKeehan drives the #21
Sportsman/Late Model Class car. His home track is Lanier Speedway
and Peach State Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Senoia
Speedway, Quaker City Speedway, Toledo Speedway and Lake Erie Speedway.
He lives in Winder, GA.
Team members helping Chris are:
Mom, Dad, Aunt Cathy, Uncle Carl, Michael, Rick, Paul and Robert.
Tim McKeehan - Dad, is the car owner.
Chris started racing in 1988 in the Jr.
Stock Racing Go Karts at Sum Toy Speedway because when Chris was 7 years
old his Dad wanted Chris to get started the way he did. His first
win was in 1996 in the Limited Late Model Class at Carnsville Speedway.
Career highlights include winning his first Stock Car race at Lanier
speedway in the Sportsman Division, his two year racing cars and Rookie
of the Year. He's raced in 3 ARCA REMAX Series races for Mark
Gibson Racing and won multiple Go Kart races.
The thrill of racing for Chris is being
able to work on his own cars and beat the guys who have big money.
His most exciting racing moment was two years ago when he went out of
the race track at Peach State Motor Speedway after getting into a wreck.
He's most proud of being able to earn Rookie of the Year in his first
year of car racing and being able to share that with his Mom and Dad.
Chris's racing hero is his Dad, Tim
McKeehan.
Of racing, Chris says, "It's harder than
it looks from the stands! Leter rip tater chip!".
