Bob Robertson
#95
Bob Robertson drives the #95 Late Model
Class car at Screven Motor Speedway. He lives in Evans, GA.
People who help Bob are Steve Wheatley and Bill Newby. Bill and
Barbara Newby are the car owners.
Bob started racing in 1985 in the Mini
Stock Class at Gordon Park. After racing Motorcross and having
several knee surgery's, Bob started racing cars as it was a lot easier on
his body. His first win was in 1985 in the Mini Stock Class at
Gordon Park. Career highlights include 2 Late Model Track
Championships at I-20 and 2 Late Model Track Championships at Augusta
Motor Speedway (Gordon Park).
The thrill of racing for Bob is going fast
and learning what to do to adjust the race car. His most exciting
racing moment was beating Billy Moyer out for transfer spot to Main at
Phoenix City in 2003. He's most proud of all the friends he's made.
Bob's racing hero is Freddie Smith.
Of racing, Bob says, "It costs to much!".
