Rick Sowders drives the #11 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Brownstown Speedway.  He lives in Heltonville, IN.

Rick started racing in 1991 in the Street Stock Class at Bloomington Speedway.  His first win was in 1992 in the Street Stock Class at Red Hill Raceway.  Career highlights include Steve Kinser Most Improved Driver Award in 1993, finishing 2nd in Points at Bloomington Speedway in 1993.

The thrill of racing for Rick is the adrenaline rush.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win.  He's most proud that he was fortunate enough to move up in the ranks.
