Bobby started racing in 1978 in the
Hobby Stock Class at Brownstown Speedway because his Dad was a race car
driver. His first win was in 1978 in the Hobby Stock Class at
Bloomington Speedway. Career highlights include 1st Championship
in 1979 at North Vernon, 2nd Championship in 1980 at North Vernon, 3rd
Championship in 1987 at Brownstown Speedway, 4th Championship in 1996 at
Union County, 5th Championship in 1999 at North Vernon, all of which
meant so much to Bobby.
The thrill of racing for Bobby is just
to have fun and go fast. His most exciting racing moment was his
first win and his first Championship in 1979. He's most proud of
how his family and friends have stuck with him through thick and thin
over the years.
Bobby's racing hero is Richard Petty!
Of racing, Bobby says, "The people you
meet, it's fun and exciting and you will never have any other experience
like racing in your life!".
