Mike is races Latemodels
out of Scottsburg In. Mikes
cousin Doc James raced. Mike went and watched him and that started his
interest. In 1979 Mike started racing in a modified street stock at
Brownstown. He won his first race in a modified in 1983 at
Brownstown. 1986
brought Mikes first Track championship, at Brownstown, in a Modified street
stock. In 1992 he won the track Championship, in a late
model at Taylor County Speedway. In 1997 he won the late model title
at Brownstown. Mike is a 5
time winner of the Butterball Memorial race a Richmond Raceway. Mike
has track championships at Taylor Co. and Brownstown. The
highlights of 2001 Mike won 13 features at different race tracks. Winning
is the thrill of racing for Mike. Making his first "WORLD" was his
biggest racing thrill. Being
able to afford to race is his biggest racing accomplishment. The
goal is to be capable of winning each night out. Don
Powell, Terry Taylor, bad Hershel Jewell, Kyle and Trent Jewell help and crew on the
car. About racing Mike would
