Class car at Crown Point Speedway. He lives in Hammond, IN.

He started racing in 1967 in the Late
Model Class at Illiana Speedway because it was a family tradition.
His father was the NASCAR 1955 Convertible Champ in a 1955 Buick.
Mike's first win was in 1967. Career highlights include running the
Nationals at The Bay and running Eldora, and Kentucky Lake.
The thrill of racing for Mike is when a
good handling car running deep into the turns. His most exciting
racing moment was racing with his Father....he let Mike win his first
race. He's most proud of always finishing top 10 in Points being
respected by fellow drivers.
Mike's racing hero is Don Oldenberg, his
Father.
Of racing, Mike says, "Dirt is real
racing!".
