David Pate

David Pate drives the #14 Drommer Eight Class car.  He lives in Louisville, KY.  His home track is Sportsdrome Speedway.

He started racing in 1979 in the Street Stock Class at Fairground Motor Speedway because his Dad raced.  His first win was in 1980 in the Street Stock Class at Fairground Motor Speedway.  David was the 1987 Track Champion at Charlestown Speedway.

The thrill of racing for David is the figure 8.  His most exciting racing moment was racing with car #34 side by side.  He's most proud of being able to race. 

David's racing hero is Richer "Butter Ball" Bloyd.
