Roy Smith drives the #14 Extreme 8 Class car.  His home track is Sportsdrome Speedway.  He lives in Louisville, KY.

Roy started racing in 1988 in the Figure 8 Class at Louisville Motor Speedway on a dare.  His first win was that same year. 

The thrill of racing for Roy is racing something that you built from the ground up.  His most exciting racing moments have been many and meeting good friends.  He's most proud of always being competitive.

Roy's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Roy says, "It's not the problem, it's a cure!".
