Marcus races out of his home town of Sellersburg In. Marcus started racing because of his Papaw and Mamaw (Terry and Barbara Elmore, Dixieanna.

Marcus began racing in 2004 in the Extreme Oval class at the Jeffersonville Sportsdrome.  On his 4th Feature Marcus took the checker flag for his first ever feature win.   He competes against his Dad (Mark) and his Uncle Joe.
