John Basham drives the #2 Dromer Figure 8 Class car.  His home track is Sportsdrome Speedway.  He lives in Louisville, KY.

Team members helping John are:  Tommy Brown Jr., Mike Willis, Tommy Brown Sr. and Roger Brown. 

John started racing in 1984 in the Figure 8 Class at Charlestown Speedway for the thrill and as a 2nd generation driver.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include finishing 2nd in the Points in his Rookie year, top 5 car every year racing and 2005 Track Championship at Sportsdrome Speedway.

The thrill of racing for John is the intersection.  His most exciting racing moment was his 2nd 100 Lap Figure 8 race at Louisville Motor Speedway, winning many many Features, and winning back to back years in the 100 Enduro race at LMS.  He's most proud of the Championship.

John's racing heroes are Rusty Wallace and many others.
