Kelly Smith drives the #58 Oval Extreme Class car.  His home track is Sportsdrome Speedway but he can also be found racing at Old Louisville Motor Speedway.  He lives in Louisville, KY.

Team members helping Kelly are:  Vic - son, Big Timma, Feeney, Carl, Shirley, Emily, Jennifer.

Kelly started racing in 1984 in the Sportsman Class at Sportsdrome Speedway for something to do.  His first win was in 1985 in the Sportsman Class at Sportsdrome Speedway.  Career highlights include 1993 2nd in Rookie of the Year at LMS, 1993 Carl Casper Auto Show winner, Best Looking Car at LMS in 1993, 1994 Street Stock Championship at LMS.

The thrill of racing for Kelly is the speed and the adrenaline rush.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the 1994 Street Stock Championship at LMS.  He's most proud of having his son with him when he won the Track Championship at LMS.

Of racing, Kelly says, "Been away for awhile but now I'm back.  Just waiting for my son to race next year!".
