Butch Winters drives the #80 Xtreme 8 Class car.  His home track is Sportsdrome Speedway but he can also be found racing at Beech Bend Raceway Park.  He lives in Taylorsville, KY.

Team members helping Butch are:  Gary Pike, Greg Pike, Larry Pike, Georgiannia Cole, Aaron Blake and Tony Price.

Butch started racing in 1990 in the Figure 8 Class at Louisville Motor Speedway because his Dad raced Figure 8 for years, thus Butch grew up around the races.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 5th in Season Points at Sportsdrome in 1995, 2nd in Season Points at LMS in 1995, Modified Figure 8 1995 Rookie of the Year, won Snowball 100 at Indy Speedrome in 1999, won several Heat and Feature races at LMS, Sportsdrome and Beech Bend Raceway Park.  Held track record at LMS and Beech Bend Raceway Park.

The thrill of racing for Butch is the adrenaline high through the cross over.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the Triple 50's at Louisville Motor Speedway, being Fast Qualifier that night and outdueling the favorite to win!  He's most proud of having the other racers/competitors know that I will race them clean and earned respect through the years.

Butch's racing hero is his Dad.
