Dawn Groulx drives the #90 Dromer Oval Class car.  Her home track is Sportsdrome Speedway.  She lives in Louisville, KY. 

Team members helping Dawn are:  Husband - Art Groulx, Brother-in-law - John Groulx, Friends - Harold Murphy, Dave Thompson, Brian Riley and kids - Renee and Justin.

She started racing in 2001 in the Dromer Class at Sportsdrome Speedway because her husband had been racing Figure 8 for many years and she picked up the interest while involved in his racing.  Her first win was in 2002 in the Street Stock Oval at Sportsdrome Speedway.  Career highlights include 2 Consi wins in 2003 in Street Stock Oval Division, 1 Feature win and 4 Heat wins in 2004 in the Dromer Oval Division, and 2nd place finish Dromer A Feature this season.

The thrill of racing for Dawn is that she enjoys the competitiveness of racing.  She enjoys the thrill of going fast and testing her abilities on the track too.  Her most exciting racing moment was her win in the Dromer A Feature last year (2004).  She's most proud of earning the respect of the other drivers considering she is one of only a few females.  She also gets enjoyment out of the fans, especially the kids that cheer her on and wish her well each week.

Dawn's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Of racing, Dawn says, "It's competitive and fun but also a great place to make friends, meet new people!".
