Adam Byrkett drives the #78 Non-wing Sprint Class car.  His home track is Kokomo Speedway but he can also be found racing at Paragon Speedway and Gas City Speedway.  He lives in Burnettsville, IN.

Adam started racing in 2001 in the 600 Outlaw Winged Midget Class at US 24 Speedway because his Dad raced for 30 years and Adam wanted to race also.  His first win was in 2004 in the 600 Open at US 24 Speedway.  Career highlights include winning Rookie of the Year in 2002 and Most Improved Driver in 2004. 

The thrill of racing for Adam is going fast.  His most exciting racing moment was running his Sprint Car for the first time.  He' s most proud of finishing 2nd in the Points in 2004.

Adam's racing hero is his Dad, Dale Byrkett.
