Willie
Sallee
#33
Willie Sallee drives the #33 Late Model
Class car. He lives in Columbus, IN. His home track is Twin
Cities Raceway Park but he can also be found racing at Brownstown
Speedway.
He started racing in 1974 in the Bomber
Class at Twin Cities Raceway Park because a friend asked Willie to drive
his car. His first win was that same year. Willie was Track
Champion in 1999 in the Street Stock Class and he won the Feature at
Osgood Raceway in Pure Stock in 2003.
The thrill of racing for Willie is just to
be competitive and have fun. His most exciting racing moment was
being able to run a Late Model at age of 53. He's most proud of his
pit crew, which is his family. Without them he wouldn't be racing.
Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt are
Willie's racing heroes.
Of racing, Willie says, "Be careful and
have lots of fun!".
