Jerry Back

Jerry Back drives the #392 UMP Modified Class car.  He lives in Camden, OH.  His home track is Lawrenceburg Speedway but he can also be found racing at Limaland Motorsports Park and White Water Valley Speedway.

He started racing in 1997 in the Stock Car Class at White Water Valley Speedway and in 1978 in the Go-Cart Class at OVKA because racing was a family tradition.  His first win was in 1997 in the Street Stock Class at WWVS.  Career highlights include:  1998 WWVS Street Stock Points Champion, 1999 Lawrenceburg Speedway Rookie of the Year, 2001 Lawrenceburg Speedway Sportsman of the Year and 2002 Bearwick Memorial winner in Pro Stocks.

The thrill of racing for Jerry is competing with the best drivers in the country.  His most exciting racing moment was racing with and against his sons.  He's most proud of his family's support and involvement in racing.
