Johnny D. Fugate drives the #00 Rookie Class car. He lives in Cambridge City, IN. His home track is  Mt. Lawn Speedway.

He started racing in 2003 in the Rookie Class at Mt. Lawn. His first win was in 2003 in Rookie Heat at Mt. Lawn, because the need for speed and the rush were great. Career highlights include  2 Heat wins in 2003 and 1 Feature win in 2004.

The Adrenalin rush is the thrill of racing for Johnny. His most exciting racing moment  was  his first Feature win. He is most proud of making everyone who believed in him proud.

Johnny's racing heroes are Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his Mother (she raced at Mt. Lawn in the 80's).

Of racing, Johnny says, "It's not for the weak. It's a great way to spend time with family and friends (and rivals)".
