Jameson Owens drives the #27 Rookie Thunder Class car. He lives in Greenfield, IN. His home track is Mt. Lawn.

He started racing in 2004 in Rookie Thunder Class at Mt. Lawn because he has always loved racing and finally got a car to drive.  Career highlight includes in his first race he qualified well enough for the Trophy Dash and cam in 7th in the Feature and 2nd  in the Heat Race that same night.

The thrill of racing for  Jameson is the excitement of being out on the track with other cars going around. His most exciting racing moment was his first race and passing people on the track. He is most proud of having a good, fast car to drive.

Of racing, Jameson says, " If you have the money to get a car together, do it. And if you don't, then go to a local track and help support the local drivers".
