Charlie Hanna drives the #68 Sportsman
Class car. His home track is New Paris Speedway but he can also be
found racing at Plymouth Speedway, Winchester Speedway and Anderson
Speedway. He lives in Goshen, IN.

Charlie started racing in 1992 in the
Street Stock Class at New Paris Speedway because his Dad started racing
in 1968 and Charlie grew up on the track. He loves to race!
His first win was in '94 in the Street Stock Class at New Paris
Speedway. Career highlights include '09 CRA Sportsman Champion,
'97 and '00 Plymouth Speedway Late Model Champion, wins at both
Winchester Speedway and Anderson Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Charlie is
controlling something that is out of control. He loves the speed
and chess game of picking the racing lane. His most exciting
racing moment was racing side by side with is Dad. Racing ASA at
Winchester Speedway 400, flipped 5 times at Galesburg. He's most
proud of being the cleanest driver on the track and winning 3 races in a
row at Winchester Speedway.
Charlie's racing heroes are Brian Ross
and Tony Stewart.
Of racing, Charlie says, "It's a very
demanding sport. You don't make money but it's fun and most of the
racing community is a big family!".
