He started racing in 1955 in the Street
Stock Class at Sullivan IN in a 1933 Plymouth because a friend got one and
it looked like a lot of fun. Career highlights include Track
Champion 3 years in a row.
The thrill of racing for Ralph is the
competition. His most exhilarating racing moment was when son #1
says "Grandpa I feel I did good because I stayed close to you". He's
most proud to race with his sons.
Sonny Yates is Ralph's racing hero.
Of racing, Ralph says, "Every one needs to
try it!".
