Mike Russ drives the #114 Figure 8 Class car.  His home track is Sportsdrome Speedway, but he can also be found racing at Indianapolis Speedway.  He lives in Milltown, IN.

Team members helping Mike are:  Wife - Anita, Doris Heneisen (both responsible for sponsors), Crew - John Perkins, Brian Cunningham, David Craig, Jim Payten and Nick Cooper. 

Mike started racing in 1989 in the Figure 8 Class at Louisville Motor Speedway after growing up watching Figure 8 races at the old Fairgrounds Motor Speedway.  His first win was in 1994 in the Figure 8 at Louisville Motor Speedway.  Career highlights include Dervical Track Championship, winning many Features and Most Popular Driver 1999.

The thrill of racing for Mike is criss-crossing at 70 mph.  His most exciting racing moment was the first time he ran the World Championship at Indianapolis Speedrome (3 hr.).  He's most proud of winning Most Popular Driver at Louisville Motor Speedway in 1999 when he only ran half the season.

Of racing, Mike says, "If it's not Figure 8, it's not racing!".
