John Hargraves

John Hargraves drives the #31 Super Modified Class car. He lives in Indianapolis, IN. His home track is Indianapolis Speedrome, but he can also be found racing at Anderson Motor Speedway.

He started racing in 1994 in the Stock Class at the Speedrome as part of a Family Tradition. His first win was in 1998 in the Modified Class at the Speedrome. Career highlights include the 2003 Track Champion.

The thrill of racing is trying to control something that is out of control. He is most proud of his 2003 Championship, which made his family and team proud also. John's most exciting racing moment was when he took the checkered flag and knew he had beaten his little brother  for the Championship.

His racing heroes are Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, John says' "It should be fun, but costs alot."
