Denny Daugherty drives the #40 Modified Class car.  His home track is Indianapolis Speedrome but he can also be found racing at Indianapolis Raceway Park.  He lives in Greenfield, IN.

Team members helping Denny are:  Ray Evert, and Steve Ellis.

Denny started racing in 1956 in the Quarter Midget Class at Indianapolis Speedrome for the excitement.  His first win was that same year. 

The thrill of racing for Denny is the close competition, wheel to wheel racing.  His most exciting racing moment was running in a ARCA Race at Talladega Speedway.  He's most proud of not getting seriously hurt.

Denny's racing hero is Richard Petty.

Of racing, Denny says, "You are never to old to try driving a race car or even competing weekly!".
