Dave Popielarz drives the #4 Hornet Class car. He lives in Brownsburg, IN. His home track is Indianapolis Speedrome.

He started racing in 2003 in the Hornet Class at Indianapolis Speedrome for the fun of it.  Dave's first win was in 2004 at the Indianapolis Speedrome. Career highlights include being a mechanic on Indy car #27, driven by Dario Franchitti, owned by Andrette Green Racing.

The thrill of racing for Dave was wining his first Heat. One of his most exciting moments was kissing the toothless trophy queen.  He is most proud of his wife.

Dave's racing hero is Tim Richmond.
