Charlie Hargraves

Charlie Hargraves drives the #74 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Indianapolis Speedrome but he can also be found racing at Jefferson Sportsdrome.  He lives in Indianapolis, IN.

Team members helping Charlie are:  Johnny Hargraves, Matthew Smith, Patrick Fleenor, Kevin Wild, Maurice Petty, Allen Hargraves, Chuck & Lou Anne Hargraves, Jeremy Morris, Terry Steele, Rich Fenwick, Persha & Makinzee Hargraves.  Chuck and Lou Anne Hargraves are the car owners.

Charlie started racing in 2007 in the Figure 8 class at Speedrome because it is a family tradition.  His first win was in '02 in the Stocks class at Speedrome.  Career highlights include '01 Stock Rookie of the Year, '03 Modified Rookie of the Year and Points Runner-Up, '03 Modified Post Season Championship.

The thrill of racing for Charlie is the speed, the competition and being with his family and friends.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the 100 Lap Modified race in '04 and making the 3 Hour starting field in '05.  He's most proud of doing what they have, running so well on a lower budget than most other top teams.

Charlie's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
