John LaValle drives the #87 Figure 8 Class car.  His home track is Sunshine Speedway but he can be found racing all over Florida and Riverhead NY.  He lives in Palm Harbor, FL.

John started racing in 1977 in the Street Stock Class at Sunshine Speedway because of his love of cars and mechanics.  His first win was in 1979 in the Street Stock Class at Sunshine Speedway.  Career highlights include 4th place finish in 29th World Championship and 35 Feature Figure 8 wins.

The thrill of racing for John is the speed and thrill.  His most exciting racing moment was his 10th place finish in World F-8 in reuef of Gordon Brown.  He's most proud of 25 years of Figure 8 competition and racing F-8 at 12 different tracks.

John's racing hero is Jack Dossy, 6 time F-8 World Champion.
